9to5Mac has the story on this one, and it seems that Apple has seen the backlash of their new MacPro update, and they have deigned to pull the new designation from the MacPro.
It doesn’t make up for releasing an update to the MacPro with zero new technology, but at least it makes me think they realize how much this has pissed people off.
