Engadget has the info on Sony’s newest portable camera. This has a built in 26mm-260mm lens (35 MM equivalent) Full XLR input for sound, 96GB of internal Memory for recording 1920×1080 in 60p, 30p or 24p or 720 60p. It Records in AVCHD and most strangely has a built in projector.
To me it sounds like a HVX200 competitor, and I have loved what footage from Sony’s has looked like of late, so I am interested in seeing what the footage from this camera looks like, especially for under $2000.
