I would love a motion control rig, as I have so many ideas for shots that could so easily be done this way.
Now this is very cool, and there are some great ideas here, though of course it is better with a lighter camera.

Very cool, how to do a makeshift bullet time with a ceiling fan over at DIY Photography! Only works for very small objects, but a very cool idea.
