My short film THE MISADVENTURES OF BEAR has been released and you can check it out on Vimeo, and give a good review if you feel so inclined.
The short was a semi finalist in 5 Film Festivals and an Official Selection in 3! The Los Angeles International Children’s Film Festival which showed at Wondercon 2023 and the San Diego International Children’s Film Festival at Comic Con 2023were really the highlights (you can see some photos at the films website), so much so that I am working on a sequel that can hopefully go back to some of these festivals!
This was a fun little film to make, a way to show off my ability to shoot as well as to do visual effects and to do some puppetry as I grew up with the Muppets and have always loved Puppets.
I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it.

My short film The Misadventures of Bear was accepted into it’s 6th film festival, The Sydney Indie Short Festival as a Semi Finalist! WOOOHOOOOO!!!!
My short film The Misadventures of Bear, has just been reported as a Semi Finalist in the Hollywood International Golden Age Festival for March 2023! WOOHOOO!!!
So that is the 4th festival it got into! We have the Kids First! Film Festival, and the 17th Los Angeles International Children’s Film Festival at Wondercon, showing on Saturday March 25th, in the 1:00 PM block in Room 303AB at the Annaheim Convention Center. And it was a Semi Finalist at the Austin International Art Festival.
I just feel so honored that my little film has been accepted at 4 Festivals! So exciting!
My short film The Misadventures of Bear is going to playing at the Los Angeles International Children’s Film Festival at Wondercon this year on Saturday March 25th in the 1:00 PM showing in Room 303AB of Anaheim Convention Center. I will post when it is able to be viewed after it finished it’s appearance in all the festivals it has been accepted in.
Anyway, on to the important bit, the Festival is supporting a 12 year old Ukrainian Filmmaker and wants to bring her to festival, but it needs to raise the money to do so, so they have started a GoFundme Page for her to bring her here for the festival.
Please consider giving to the GoFund me to bring her from Poland for festival.
She has 2 amazing documentary films about her experience in the war, and they are a must see.
