Gordon Ung at PCWorld on the Hidden Costs of multi-gigabit fiber Internet: A cautionary tale

I know not my usual topic, but with the pandemic and both my wife and I working at home I have realized that Gigabit Internet is really not fast enough, but this article by Gordon Ung shows how far we are from multi-gigabit fiber to replace gigabit.

Now I know I already have a 10 Gigabit Ethernet port on my iMac, so I am closer to the tech than your standard PC, but I also doubt many of my devices would be able to take advantage of the speed via WIFI.

Let’s hope Multi Gigabit Internet becomes the norm and the price doesn’t go up exponentially.
