PostPerspective interview with Colorist Mitch Paulson on Grading Alien: Romulus
Another great interview from PostPerspective.
Interesting, and I mostly enjoyed Romulus, in fact much more than I thought I would. A mix of fan service and good movie making, but with some huge plot holes that Lee me from really loving it.
Like if they went and found the Alien from Alien, where do all the face huggers come from? They come from a. Queen right? If they also went to LV426 to get them why would Wayland Yutani have sent colonists? And if it was to get them infected just send some prisoners.
And they just aren’t able to use dead actors so why bother? It looks awful!

An interview with the 2 VFX Supervisors from postPerspective.

postPerspective on Directer Edward Berger talks Conclave’s Editing, VFX and More

Another great interview from PostPerpective, and this one by Iain Blair.
Conclave was amazing, certainly one of the best films of the year. I am not into religion or religious stories, but this one is damn engaging.
Cut/daily Meets… Shōgun Editors Maria Gonzales and Aika Miyake
Another great read from CUT/DAILY (free registration required).
I did really enjoy the recent adaption of Shogun though I am a little scared of a sequel which has no book and having lost its best character and actress (sure there are the actual events SHOGUN was based on, so maybe adaption will work).
