I really do want to play with Midjourney as it is obviously the best AI out there, but I can’t justify the cost to play. Something like this might make me some money and get me to try Midjourney out

No Film School on How to Use Runway AI for Video Editing

Jourdan Aldredge at No Film School has a good article on getting started with the online Runway and it’s Generative AI features.
I haven’t played with the new generative ai features, but have used the keying features in the past, and Runway is good, though not good enough for daily use, but it has it’s uses for sure.
Adobe is going to let use Firefly with video in the future
I am already playing with the Firefly beta, so I can’t wait to see what it can do with with Video!

AppleInsider Reports on Apple acquiring AI-Powered video compression startup WaveOne


Amber Neely has the news that Apple purchased an AI Video Compression company.
This is of course for iPhones, as the technology is made to cut file sizes in half while prioritizing Faces and Text and de-prioritizing backgrounds.
Better video compression is always to be looked for, but I am assuming this won’t be like ProRES HQ or 4444, but more highly compressed, so likely won’t be a great editing compression.
