GoPro Introduces Hero 4 Cameras
GoPro has introduced the new Hero4 Cameras in Black and Silver Editions for $499.99 and $399.99. The Black shoots in 4K at 30FPS or 1080 at 120FPS, wow! And the Silver shoots at 1080 60p or 120P with a touch control LCD view screen! Let’s hope the Hero 5 combines both into one unit, as that would be awesome!!! They release on October 5th.
Would love the 120 FPS, and 4K, but the touch screen would be amazing too.
MegaLapse Hack for GoPro allows longer Timelapses
Cinescopophilia has news on a hack for GoPro3 which allows for longer timelapse shots.
Too bad it doesn’t work on GoPro 2’s, but oh well.

GoPro has announced the upgraded Hero3
GoPro has announced it’s new high end Hero3 for $399. It is 25% Lighter and 30% smaller, with built in Wifi and included Wifi remote (and so it works with iPhone or iPad out of the box) and 2x faster video performance, including 2.7k 24fps and 4kp-12fps Protune Video Modes, improved sharpness with a better lens, and a rededigned audio system.
Very very cool! There have been great alternatives to GoPro out, but GoPro has raised it’s game once again!
Cinema5D on the new GoPor $99 Wifi Remote and Monitoring System
Cinema5D has a great look at the newly released GoPro WIFI bacPac and WIFI remote Combo for $99. It will be even more exciting once the iOS app is released. And impressive that you will be able to start up to 50 GoPro’s at 180m range! Very very cool!
New Kickstarter Case for GoPro
DIY Photography has the article on this new Kickstarter Case for a GoPro camera to really give it some serious protection.
It is a bit expensive at $328, but is solid aluminum and features a self tightening door, that can tell when it is thrown.
They also have the less expensive Headgear case which wraps around the gopro.
Pretty interesting, though a bit more than the actual camera. Still pretty cool idea.

The Provideocoalition has an excellent review of the new GoPro Hero2 with some video. I actually just got one of these and can’t wait to put it through it’s paces. It is an awesome and tiny little camera, and can get shots you could not get any other way.
